Serving since 2018, Mayor Danny Whillock is a steadfast advocate for the city, leading with a vision to enhance the community’s growth and prosperity. His leadership is marked by a commitment to public service, transparency, and a focus on addressing the needs of all residents. 

Serving since 1999, Maurice Solomon is a devoted public servant whose efforts on the City Council are aimed at driving progress and improving the quality of life for all citizens.  His work is characterized by a passion for fostering growth and strengthening the community.  Maurice also proudly serves as the Asst Chief of the New Market Volunteer Fire Department.  

Serving since 2019, Lori Tucker is dedicated to improving the city through her work on the City Council. Her focus on innovative solutions and community engagement ensures that the city moves forward with the input and support of its residents. 

Serving since 2005 as a dedicated City Council member, Frank Solomon prioritizes the voices and concerns of the community. His focus on sustainable development and thoughtful policymaking ensures that the city thrives while preserving its core values.  Frank also proudly serves as the Fire Chief of New Market Volunteer Fire Department.  

 Serving since 2019, David Stapleton brings a results-driven approach to the City Council, advocating for growth and positive change within the community. His leadership and dedication to enhancing local services reflect a commitment to the prosperity of all residents. 

Serving since 2017, Judge Ed Stiner presides with fairness, integrity, and a deep respect for the law. His judicial expertise and unwavering commitment to justice play a crucial role in maintaining the trust and confidence of the community. 

  Serving since 2021 as distinguished law enforcement leader, Chief Joey Rush exemplifies dedication to public safety and the well-being of the community.  With over 28 years of experience and a deep commitment to maintaining order and fostering trust, Chief Rush leads with integrity and a focus on protecting all residents. 

Serving since 2022, Court Clerk Summer Claiborne-Smith ensures the smooth operation of court functions with meticulous attention to detail and a strong understanding of legal processes.  Her expertise and professionalism contribute to the accurate and timely management of judicial records and proceedings.
